perfect for mass
Very useful for everyday reading and following readings in the mass as well as stories about the saints. Using my kindle for this purpose.
I like but unfortunately the text doesn't match exactly with what I heve to the Church that I go.
Why would a book of scripture readings for Roman Catholic Mass use the
King James Bible translation as its source? That version is never read in Catholic churches.
Unfortunately the readings are not taken from Catholic Bibles. KJV and World English Bible where used. It would have also been nice to have the Order of the Mass included.
I wasn't happy with the Readings. They were somewhat alike with the actual Mass readings, but were different enough to be confusing. Then, it ended on Nov. 27th and did not complete the year.
This includes the scripture readings for each mass, Sunday and daily, through the liturgical year, which is nearly ended as of this post. It also includes information on a saint being celebrated each day, although the language here seems a little old fashioned and formal. I plan to use the 2018 edition.
